My husband and I go to the North Valley Eye Care for 20 years. We love the staff and Dr. Merry treat us with so much professionalism and the testing equipment is always the best. We look forward to my husband starting the process fixing his cataracts.

I went in for a routine eye exam and vision test and they dilated my pupils BEFORE the vision test which had never happened to me before. As a consequence I couldn’t make out the letters on the test screen and they told me my vision had deteriorated and I needed surgery. Looking around this facility you can see they spent millions of dollars and it is a money making machine. I don’t trust them anymore.

I live in Biggs and drive to the office early in the morning. My last appointment the drive was 50-55 till I got to the freeway. I called the office who not only told me their late policy but left a note on my chart stating that I notified them I was running late. Then I barely sat down when I got called back!

I was very impressed with the staff.
I appreciated the assistants who conducted the tests with efficiency and their personable demeanor.
Dr. Gajda gave me the best news I could have hoped for. For the past two years I have visited NVEC in Anderson, Corning and in Chico. I have never had a bad experience in their system. I recommend their expertise and caring.

I've been a patient since the Dr. Val Shaw days. Really great care! In times past there was a pretty serious situation that was brought under control with Dr. Shaw's help and now I'm just a regular patient. There was no waiting time! I'm always greeted with such kindness! Tiffany called me in to have all the necessary prep work done. She was so good!
